About

My name is Kristina, aka The Angrivated Mom. (Think Angry + Aggravated.) I am a sahm of four hoodlums children and wife to my best friend. On a journey to insanity and beyond raising my crew, I hope to survive through all of their high school graduations with my sanity intact. One day, far far away. You can skip the coffee with me, I am a Coca-Cola guzzling fool and nothing else will suffice. Technology is not my strong suit. I’ll be the first to admit that I’m very illiterate with all things internet, but somehow I manage to run this blog without breaking it. It’s truly a love-hate relationship, if you must know.

A writer by nature, poet by heart, and blogger by nurture, I have big dreams and little luck in life. On my blog is an eclectic mix of poetry, essays, and humor running a gamut of themes. From parenting experiences and relationships to marijuana legalization and mental health awareness, there’s something for everyone. I hope you find that you can relate to my journey and continue coming back for more.

My work has also been published on some really amazing sites:
Sammiches and Psych Meds
BLUNT Moms
Scary Mommy
Mamalode
Mamapedia
Ripped Jeans and Bifocals
The Good Men Project
Momologues
Mommitment
The Good Mother Project

  1. Hello,
I was just wondering if you’d be interested in receiving a free book in exchange for a book review on your blog?
I put together a book dedicated to mothers called To and From: Mother. I hope it encourages mums around the world and lets them know they’re not alone in their struggles and insecurities. I hope it gives mothers a moment of rest and reflection away from self-judgement and the criticisms of others.
If you’re keen, I’ll send you a pdf version of the book and any info you need to write a review. When I say review, it can be 10 words or 1000 words and written in your own style.
Ultimately my goal is to share this book with as many mothers as possible in the hopes that it gives them something to help them on their journey of motherhood. I’d love it if you could help me do this, but totally understand if you’re not interested or if this isn’t a good fit for your blog and am sorry to bother you.
Thank you so much for adding your voice to the world through your blog.
    JD.
